Student Work from the Basic Design-I Course Exhibited at the Faculty
Eight different projects prepared by first-year students throughout the semester as part of the Basic Design-I course, taught by Assistant Professor Hande Büşra Geyikli of the Department of Architecture, were exhibited on the first floor of Block A in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
The projects, aimed at developing students' design thinking skills, consisted of productions that involved interpreting basic design principles, abstract thinking, spatial construction, and creative problem-solving. The students, who worked diligently throughout the semester, had the opportunity to both showcase their design processes and share them with the faculty.
The exhibition was met with great interest by faculty students and faculty, and it was emphasized that the annual exhibition of work produced in the Basic Design-I course significantly contributes to the department's culture.
